Youth Suffers

Suffering is not an easy thing we've been facing. Sometimes it affects our life especially our mental health. But why is it still happening? How do I stop this as a youth? Mostly youths are those victim of suffering in many different aspects like family, school, finances and the way we get to socialize with other people. Like example in school, some youth suffered from bullying they've been bullied because of their physical and mental appearance. It causes them depression, but how do we stop it?

We have to help those persons who are bully. Why them? Because those youths who bullies suffered also and experienced the same thing in their family. In this case, we have to help also those who have been bullied so they can survive the depression they've been suffering. It's hard to stop it but to motivate them and giving them advice it means a lot them. why am I focusing on the youth? According to our study at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Parish in Bicutan, Taguig , during junior high , about those youths who suffer from depression there's a 10,000 youths suffer through depression and it causes half of them to commit suicide at the young age.

No one can stop it but in a little way we can help those youths from suffering. Another thing we do is to help them to open their hearts and faith for God to show to them the importance of his word. I asked a youth if he can stop suffering then he answered me that yes he can if we just keep on looking at the brighter side and realize that we have to face this reality because we all know that God gave this to us to challenge our strength. We have to be true to ourselves because we can't fool who we really are and accept the fact that our life is like a story that it will never be complete without an antagonist to its climax.

Furthermore, lot of people still facing this thing even me. I suffered but still helped myself to get through it. According to Dr. Robert Puff, a license psychologist, “Shifting from wants to preferences will lead to less suffering and more happiness. When you are content with what you have, and when you have it, you no longer succumb to external circumstances that must be fulfilled. You take control of happiness and allow it to blossom inside you no matter what circumstances arise around you.”   Therefore, we must be contented of what we have and fulfill our dreams in our own way without thinking those people who let us down. Let's just show to them who we really are and if God has a plan for us, we must face it wholeheartedly without the negative thoughts inside our minds. If we will continue doing those things without any doubts in our hearts, our suffering can be stop. Not today but in God's perfect timing.

There's is one thing I've learned and realize that emotions are temporary we are the one who's controlling it not the emotions will control us. Everything is temporary we must know how to fix it and knows the importance of life that God has given to us.

come alive ! no matter what happened just trust the LORD.

All about me

Good day! For my first blog I’d like to introduce myself first so you will know who I am. My name is Nelieren Tagudando Gallardo. My first name was too difficult to pronounce that’s why I want you to know my nickname which is Lash. I’m 16 years old and I’m the youngest in our family. I have siblings 5 of us were girls and one and only brother my eldest sister was a call center who work at McKinley same with my other elder sister who work in Makati. My third sister graduated at Philippine Normal University as a Psychology and work as a teacher in Abba’s Orchard
Montessori, McKinley,

while my brother graduated at Philippine Merchant Marine School as a Marine Engineering but as of now his work at CBCP near in manila cathedral and for my last sister she’s studying in PNU major in Filipino.
And I lived in my mother’s side so if you’re confuse about what my family is I’m proudly say that I came from a broken family. Yes I am at first; I used to live in my father’s side which is in manila with my brother and sisters. Every Friday night I travel from Manila to Laguna just to visit my mom and spend the rest of the weekend with her and her new family and this school year I decide to stay in my mom until I graduate from senior high school and every Friday after class I will go home to manila to see my siblings and my father because I miss them so much.

That’s my weekly routine. About myself I’m a proud Roman Catholic actually all members of our family were servants my dad was a Lay minister the one who help the priest to give the Ostia my four sisters were lectors and commentators while my brother is a knights of the altar who help the priest from the whole mass and I’m part of the ministry of liturgical dance who worship and praise God through dancing and I’m the new coordinator of our ministry. My brother is the coordinator of the parish youth council were my ministry was under by this organization the PYC is the active youth servants who helps the youth inside and out of the church to know more God and the importance of faith.
Recently, the PYC had an activity known as L.A.Y.A which has an acronym of Live As Youth Amen who has a theme of #LaudatoYes! Came from a Latin word means “Care for our common home” by this we provoke the youth to stop using plastics and to learn to conserve and to care our mother nature.
. When I was 9 years old I started to join the Lit dance and till now I’m 7 years serving the Lord wholeheartedly in our parish at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Bicutan-Taguig. In PYC I’m a part of the social service committee who teach some street kids about Jesus we called this activity as “Pambatang Katekesis” I loved seeing kids who wants to learn a lot about Jesus
and overwhelming when they say that they want to be like us someday when they grown up. I like making friends and to socialize with some other youth I’m the kind of a person who knows how to treat people. My hobbies were dancing, drawing, reading books, baking, singing, acting, modelling, make up myself, Photoshop, writing poems, and lastly praising God. And I believe that I’m blessed because I had these kinds of talent. I hope you learned something and enjoy reading all about myself.
